From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. Choosing a career as a Registered  Psychiatric Nurse, Mental Health Therapist and Designated Capacity Assessor was a natural fit for me. Helping others by providing a genuine connection, being an active listener and taking a holistic approach to treat the whole person is the backbone of psychiatric nursing. 

I provide a comprehensive set of services to help boost your confidence and offer support as you navigate your personal health and wellness challenges. I work with clients closely in order to achieve measurable results that allow them to push forward with a new, positive mindset. I am an open, compassionate and understanding nurse therapist.

I grew up in rural Manitoba and have resided in all four of the western provinces. After all of my travels I call Edmonton home and love the sense of community and green space this wonderful city has to offer. I have a passion for teaching and assisting others to feel supported and confident in their own process of learning and growing. All questions are worth asking and all thoughts are worth exploring. Everyone deserves to have time to attend to their own needs. Dedicating to prioritize your self care results in being more present in the lives of those individuals that are important in your life.

I have worked in the field of mental health as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) and Mental Health Therapist since 2009 in BC, AB and SK. I completed my Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing at Grant MacEwan College in 2009. I completed my Capacity Assessor training with the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee Office of Alberta and received my formal designation as a Designated Capacity Assessor from the Alberta Health Minister in 2025. I am registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta.  
 

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in various inpatient and community settings including:
